Yashasvi Jaiswal was born in a middle class family, residing in Suriyawan, Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh. Yashasvi is the youngest of his parents among their four children. His father Bhupendra Jaiswal runs a small hardware store and his mother Kanchan Jaiswal is a housewife. He has a brother and two sisters.
When Yashasvi was 10 years old, he moved to Mumbai for his cricket training at ‘Azad Maidan’. Initially he started working & living in a dairy shop. But, he is often unable to work there because of his training schedules. So, the owner of the diary evicted him which is why he lived in a tent with a groundsman at the stadium.
