First Test was played at ‘M.Chinnaswamy Stadium’, India won the toss and elected to bat first. And blunder started for India from day 1, New Zealand wrapped up India on 46 runs. Rishabh failed to complete his century by just a run. India made 462 runs in the second innings.

Second Test Match (24-28 Oct, 2024)
Second match of the series played at ‘Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium’. New Zealand won the toss this time and elected to bat first. In the first innings New Zealand reached a decent score of 260 runs. Devon Conway was the top scorer with 76 runs.
Again India collapsed totally in front of New Zealand. ‘Mitchell Santner’ tricked every Indian batter and took 7 wickets. He completely outplayed India’s batsmen. India was only able to score 156 r4uns in their first innings.
New Zealand came to bat for the second innings, played a good innings and doubled their lead on India. Skipper ‘Tom Lattham’ scored 83 runs and led from the front.
India tried to fight back, ‘Yashasvi Jaiswal’ played a good knock of 77 runs. But, didn’t get the support from other batters. And finally India lost the match and series with it.

Third Test Match (01-05 Nov, 2024)
The last match of the series was played at ‘Wankhede Stadium’. New Zealand were lucky again and elected to bat first after winning the toss. New Zealand performed average in batting, Daryll Mitchell scored 82 runs and became the top scorer of the first innings.
India showed a good intent while batting, ‘Shubhman Gill’ scored 90 runs. Along with him Rishabh Pant also hitted a half-century and added valuable runs in team’s total. Small but impactful innings of Washington Sundar and Yashavi Jaiswal helped India to get a 28 run lead over New Zealand.
When New Zealand came to bat again, Indian bowlers had a different plan. India quickly bowled out ‘Kiwis’ on a low score of 174 runs. ‘Ravindra Jadeja’ took a 5-wicket haul and became top wicket taker for India.
Everyone expected that India would easily chase down 146 runs. But, New Zealand bowlers completely demolished the thought with their bowling.
